Established in 2006 ( http://www.terrafugia.com) their aim was to revolutionize personal mobility and coined the brand name Terrafugia which in Latin means “escape from land This is unique flying car that does not require a trailer or hangar, and has automated electromechanical folding wing with the added safety feature of a full vehicle parachute. , Following the enthusiastic response to the release of the next generation design of the Transition®at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in July 2010, the company has developed two prototypes of which on is going to undergo extensive test drives and the other to complete the formalities of procuring the Light Sport Aircraft flight testing certification. The price of this dream machineis expected to be somewhere between $200,000 and $250,000.
